After retiring from a fulfilling career in the U.S. Navy, I transitioned in 2017. I went on to serve the Chesapeake Fire Department (CFD), where I was entrusted with the vital task of developing their innovative Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) program.

As the very first MIH program established in Hampton Roads, CFD has grown to become one of the most successful and highly regarded programs in the entire nation. It now stands as a true model program—demonstrated by the numerous agencies that have witnessed firsthand how accessible and achievable it is to launch an integrated healthcare initiative.
